Speaker Introduction:

Xiaomei Tai, the author of the book 'Buccaneer Testing Analysis: MFQ&PPDCS", is an independent software testing consultant based in Shanghai, China. She has more than 16 years of experience in software testing industry and more than 8 years of experience with Agile.

Xiaomei has worked 11 years as a tester and testing expert in Huawei before she became an independent consultant in 2012. Xiaomei has worked closely with the main testing experts in the world and has enriched and adapted their knowledge to the realities of China. As a consultant she now helps multiple companies in China to improve their testing practices.

In 2016, Xiaomei put forward the idea of Buccaneer Testing. Xiaomei believes testing mind and testing skills being at the heart of software testing and takes software testing as an art of craftsmanship

Brief of Topic:

During years of coaching and training of exploratory testing, I gradually

developed my own style of notes-taking, and I named it - Tree-Type Notes. Tree-Type Notes are very suitable for any exploratory activities, surely exploratory testing activities included, too. It can greatly help to note down necessary information during explorations, while at the same time be a useful tool for retrospectives, so that Tree-Type notes become  great enhancement for learning from explorations. This workshop will show the charm of Tree-Type notes from a live demo.
